TT-Line released extra tickets, including pet-friendly cabins, for Spirit of Tasmania IV and V on 16 September, and its booking engine received over 150,000 visits in the first half hour, causing delays and errors. The new ships are set to start on the Geelong–Devonport route from 31 October, though the ABC noted the inaugural passenger sailing was listed as not yet confirmed.
