Irish Ferries (Dublin–Holyhead and Rosslare–Pembroke) and Stena Line (Dublin, Holyhead, Fishguard and Rosslare) now require all passengers, including Irish and British citizens, to show a passport or passport card at check-in. Driving licences and national ID cards are no longer accepted. The operators said the change meets UK Border Force requirements on passenger data.
