TT-Line, based in Lübeck-Travemünde, Germany, will start operating with Viking Line on the Vuosaari (Helsinki)–Muuga (Tallinn) route, marking its entry into the Finland–Estonia ferry market.
Operations are planned to begin in the first quarter of 2027, with the two companies jointly running a RoPax vessel on the route. The vessel will be announced in November.
As part of the cooperation, TT-Line will also offer its freight customers transport on board Viking XPRS between Helsinki and Tallinn.
TT-Line CEO Bernhard Termühlen called the agreement an important milestone for Baltic Sea freight, while Viking Line President and CEO Marcus Risberg said it strengthens Viking Line's freight position and creates a long-term alternative on the Vuosaari–Muuga route.
